The Duke recently caused a stir in Parliament when he declared an Independence Day for himself and his entire estate. Popular opinion is that he is mad – but people seem to like him. Every major news network wants to be the first to break the full story, but few journalists get access. But Chloe Toy, a cub reporter, was granted access at the first stage and allowed onto the estate. But now she has been turned away by security! The guard informs her that under the new regime, certain items are considered contraband because the Duke has banned them from the ducal estates. She is now in foreign territory and must obey the laws like everyone else. Shoes, for example. Women are not allowed to wear shoes within the confines of the Duke’s estate. She will have to take them off, they will be confiscated for the duration of her stay. And is that a bra he sees under her blouse? Blouses are allowed but bras are contraband.
